that the total interference to systems operating in the broadcasting service, from all sourcesof interference, as prescribed in the Recommendation mentioned in considering d) above, should atno time exceed one per cent of the total receiving system n
The Radio Regulations have established criteria with regard to the amount of interference allowed between the broadcasting service and other services with a frequency allocation. This Recommendation provides a guideline for an acceptable limit for total interference to the terrestrial broadcasting services that may result from the emissions of radio devices.
This Recommendation provides a vocabulary of terms and definitions for the land mobile service which mayalso be applicable to other radiocommunication services.
This Report contains propagation aspects, system design parameters, possible applications and other technical/operational characteristics, which are required for the implementation of fixed wireless systems in the frequency ranges 57 GHz to 130 GHz. The applications include specific examples of outdoor/indoor wireless connections taking advantage of these frequency bands (i.e. 60 GHz (57-64 GHz), 70 GHz (71-76 GHz), 80 GHz (81-86 GHz), 95 GHz (92-95 GHz) and 120 GHz (110-130 GHz)). The example systems in the 120 GHz case study, actually cover systems in the 110-130 GHz band. It is intended that future versions of this Report would be needed.
This Report provides information on many of the technology trends concerning radio access networks foreseen at the time of preparation of Recommendation ITU-R M.1645.
As the bands 3 400-4 200 MHz and 4 500-4 800 MHz are allocated worldwide on a primary basis to the FSS, this Report presents the results of the sharing studies performed between the FSS networks using the geostationary satellite orbit (GSO) and IMT-Advanced systems.
This Report considers interferences from devices using ultra-wideband (UWB) technology on radiocommunication services. As a main objective, it evaluates UWB e.i.r.p. density required for the protection of radiocommunication services. This Report also includes laboratory and field measurements on the impact of devices using UWB technology on radiocommunication services.
This Recommendation offers an additional methodology for the evaluation of the effect of interferencebetween radiocommunication networks operating in a shared frequency band.
Taking into account that limits for unwanted emissions in the spurious domain have not yet been defined for the free-space condition, there is a need for a new Recommendation.
Taking into account that there are two general measurement approaches (time domain and frequencydomain) this Recommendation gives the appropriate techniques to be applied when measuring UWBtransmissions.
This Recommendation is offering a summary of studies related to the impact of devices using UWB technology on radiocommunication services. These may be used as guidance for administrations when developing their national ultra-wideband (UWB) rules.
This Recommendation contains the description of an algorithm for the scalable coding of narrow-band and wideband speech and audio signals at 8-32 kbit/s.
