The method described in this standard can possibly be applied to other materials under proper operating conditions. NOTE 1 This method also allows a shrinkage ratio to be assessed. However, the reference method for measuring the shrinkage ratio is ISO 11501, Plastics — Film and sheeting — Determination of dimensional change on heating.
