This European Standard deals with the technical requirements to minimize the specific railway hazards of self propelled road-rail machines-henceforward referred to as machines-and associated equipment, which can arise during the commissioning, the operation and the maintenance of machines when carried out in accordance with the specification given by the manufacturer or his authorised representative. Part 1 of EN 15746 defines requirements for approval of the machine by an authorised body; Part 2 defines requirements for the machine to be declared conformant by the manufacturer, except in the case of machines classified under Annex 4 of the Machinery Directive, which require a conformity check in conjunction with a notified body. Additional requirements can apply for running on infrastructures with narrow gauge or broad gauge lines, lines of tramways, railways utilizing other than adhesion between the rail and rail wheels and underground infrastructures. This European Standard is also applicable for machines and associated equipment that in working configuration are partly supported on the ballast or the formation. This European Standard does not apply to the following: the requirements for quality of the work or performance of the machine; the specific requirements established by the machine operator for the use of machines, which will be the subject of negotiation between the manufacturer and the infrastructure manager; running and working whilst not on rails; separate machines temporarily mounted on machines and associated equipment; demountable machines as defined in 3.2; trailers as defined in 3.3, including road-rail trailers. This European Standard does not establish the additional requirements for the following: operation subject to special rules, e. g. potentially explosive atmospheres; hazards due to natural causes, e. g. earthquake, lightning, flooding; working methods; operation in severe working conditions requiring special measures, e. g. work in tunnels or in cuttings, extreme environmental conditions such as: freezing temperatures, high temperatures, corrosive environments, tropical environments, contaminating environments, strong magnetic fields; hazards due to errors in software; hazards occurring when used to handle suspended loads which may swing freely. Other track construction and maintenance machines used on railway tracks are dealt with in other European Standards, see Annex G.This European Standard applies to all machines which are ordered one year after the publication date by CEN of this European Standard.
The document is for fast emergency car for first aid by special medical doctor and described concepts, requirements, test.
This document applies to: Pre-press machinery (machinery and devices for the production of master copies and printing forms): - exposure equipment for the production of films and printing forms; - equipment for developing films and printing forms; - washing machines for printing forms; - machines for bending printing forms; - punching machines for film and printing forms; - cutting machines for film and printing forms; - machines for the production of gravure printing forms; - scanners. Printing and varnishing machines: - proofing presses; - sheet-fed printing presses and varnishing machines including digital printing presses; - web-fed rotary presses and varnishing machines including digital printing presses; - screen printing presses. Auxiliary devices: - cylinder and roller washing devices; - continuous flow drying devices; - powder spraying devices; - auxiliary devices on inking and damping units; - automatic plate clamping devices; - washing equipment for printing forms, rollers and scrapers; - pile turners; - measuring and control devices. This document shall be used together with EN 1010-1:2004+A1. Both parts together identify all significant hazards relevant to printing and varnishing machines including pre-press machinery and auxiliary devices, when they are used as intended and under the conditions foreseen by the manufacturer (see clause 4). The specific requirements specified in prEN 1010-2 take precedence over respecti??ve requirements in this standard. This document does not deal with risks generated by noise emitted from the machines. These issues are fundamentally covered in EN 1010-1:2004+A1. This document does not apply to high-pressure cleaning devices and screen printing presses for textile substrates. This document is not applicable to printing and varnishing machines including pre-press machinery which are manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN.
This European Standard specifies the requirements for individual electrically operated light devices, called warning lights, emitting a continuous or regular intermittent light of a single colour which, by their colour and position alone, are used to warn, inform or guide road users. It specifies the requirements for visual, structural and operational performances and the relevant test methods to be used. This European Standard is not applicable to lighting devices which convey messages by additional means (e. g. traffic signals) or which are covered by vehicle lighting regulations.
This standard applies to snow grooming equipment as defined in 3.1 and its use with attachments as described in 3.2. With the exception of rear-mounted snow tillers and front blade attachments, this standard does not deal with the specific hazards of the attachments themselves. This standard is not applicable to snowmobiles. This standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to snow grooming equipment, when it is used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable by the manufacturer (see Clause 4). It also deals with hazards during commissioning, use, fault-finding and maintenance. This standard is not applicable to snow grooming equipment manufactured before the date of publication of this document by CEN. NOTE For travelling on public roads, national traffic regulations apply until harmonised requirements are available.
